The Shimano rod tip protector from Shimano is specially designed to help protect your expensive Shimano rod tips.  It is made of neoprene to absorb abrasions, bumps etc.  It is available in 2 different sizes Small and Medium.  The small holds 2-4 rods recommend for freshwater rods.  The medium holds 4-8 rods.
